  The DYFED FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY exists to serve anyone interested in Genealogy. The Society covers the three Counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion or Cardiganshire (i.e. the 'old' Dyfed in South West Wales) region of Wales). Most of its members live in Wales but it has a strong membership from the rest of the UK and overseas.

  The Gwynedd Family History Society came into being in 1980 through the hard work of Mr. R.R. Williams of Menai Bridge, Anglesey, who has lately retired as Chairman of the Society although he continues to work as Publications Editor.
