Is Clan MacCalum/Malcolm descended from King Malcolm?

No.  Clan Donnachaid (Robertson) descends from King Malcolm II but our clan does not.

Is Duntrune Castle open to the public?

Duntrune is the private residence of Robin Malcolm, current chief of Clan MacCallum/Malcolm and is not open to the public.

Why do I sometimes see the phrase "In Ardua Tendit" and other times "In Ardua Petit"?

The phrases can be used interchangeably and mean approximately the same thing. In Ardua Tendit is the preferred version but either will work.

What does "In Ardua Tendit" mean?

The latin phrase translates to "he attempts difficult things".

Where can I get a copy of the Clan MacCallum/Malcolm coat-of-arms?
